NFL Network
Because of a contract dispute, Time Warner Cable does not carry the NFL Network, which is televising eight games -- or 3% of all 2009 NFL regular season games -- this season. Under a ruling passed by the NFL when ESPN began carrying games on cable in the 1980s, an over-the-air station in the market of either of the competing teams also airs the contest. However, Albany is not considered an NFL market.
