Channel Changes

Time Warner Cable's agreements with programmers to carry their services routinely expire from time to time. We are usually able to obtain renewals or extensions of such agreements, and carriage of programming services is discontinued only in rare circumstances. The following agreements with programmers are due to expire soon, and we may be required to cease carriage of one or more of these services in the near future:  A&E, A&E HD, Adult Swim On Demand, BBC On Demand, Biography, Cartoon On Demand, CNN On Demand, Court TV On Demand, Flix, Game Show Network, Great American Country, History Channel, History Channel HD, History International, Inspirational Life, NBC Universal On Demand, Oxygen On Demand, Showtime/The Movie Channel, Sci-Fi Channel, Sleuth, Sport South, Starz/Encore, TBS On Demand, TCM, TNT On Demand, Universal HD, USA, Weather Channel, WJZY-TV and WMYT-TV, WRAL (Rockingham).

In addition, effective Apil 1st, the provider of Canal i will no longer deliver this service therefore Canal i will be removed from the Hispanic Tier (Nuestra Tele). Sports Illustrated On Demand will no longer be available Effective April 14, 2008.

In addition, from time to time, Time Warner Cable makes certain changes in the services that we offer in order to better serve our customers.

  • The provider of VHUno will terminated distribution on or about FEBRUARY 2, 2008.

  • Court TV renamed truTV on January 1, 2008.

Previous Changes for December 2007

  • The proivder of both AOL Music on Demand (856) and Great American Country On Demand (858) will no longer offer these services as of December 15, 2007.
  • Nickelodeon is discontinuing delivery of Nickelodeon GAS effective December 31, 2007.  In its place, Digital Variety customers will get access to "The N" (channel 191 (Statesville 185).  Family Choice subscribers will get access to "Noggin" (channel 626 (Statesville 178).
  • Disney On Demand added - Subscription Video On Demand - $3.99/month
  • Digital Broadcast channel added - Severe Weather Center 9 Now
  • Court TV renamed truTV
  • High Definition channles added - HGTV-HD, Food Network HD, National Geographic HD
