Time Warner Cable North Texas Division provides local leaders with the opportunity to discuss important topics and issues impacting their communities on Time Warner Cable Community Connection (TWC3), a four-and-a-half minute interview segment carried on Headline News at :55 past the hour and on North Texas on Demand. In 2008, 101 segments were produced totaling more than $5 million in-kind contributions to North Texas strategic community, governmental, civic and educational partners.
Technology Demonstration at State Fair of Texas
Time Warner Cable’s Total Digital Home exhibit at this year’s State Fair of Texas was a huge success. The fully interactive exhibit, designed to resemble a typical North Texas home was more than 2,000 square feet and featured live demos of Digital Cable, Road Runner High-Speed Online and Digital Phone. The Total Digital Home was also the scene for free celebrity appearances including a live music performance from country music group Lady Antebellum, Dallas Cowboy’s Wide Receiver, Patrick Crayton, Chef G. Garvin of TV One’s Turn Up the Heat and a live pre-game show from Fox Sports Network..
