LEGAL NOTICE
Time Warner Cable’s San Diego division agreements with programmers and broadcasters to carry their service and stations routinely expire from time to time. We are usually able to obtain renewals or extensions of such agreements, but in order to comply with applicable regulations, we must inform you when an agreement is about to expire. The following agreements with programmers are due to expire soon, and we may be required to cease carriage of one or more of these services/stations in the near future. E!, Style, HalogenTV (i-Life TV), Encore (all Encore Services), Erotic Networks, Food Network, Fox Reality, Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Sports West, FSN Prime Ticket, Fox Sports en Espanol, Fuel, FX, Speed, Starz, truTV, TV Japan, GAC (Great American Country), and KTLA.
In addition, from time to time we make certain changes in the services that we offer in order to better serve our customers. The following changes are planned: The new services listed below will not be accessible to Cable Card-equipped Unidirectional Digital Cable Products purchased at retail without additional, two-way capable equipment:
AMC HD, AYM Sports, Canal 52 Mexico, Cartoon Espanol, Cinemax East HD, CW HD, Disney XD HD, DOCUTVE, Ecuavisa International, Encore HD, ESPNU HD, G4 Video Game TV HD, GMA Pinoy, GMA Pinoy Life, GMA Pinoy On Demand, HBO East HD, HBO 2 East HD, HTV, IFC HD, IndiePlex, Jewelry TV, KCAL HD, Latino America TV, Lifetime HD, Lifetime Movie Network HD, MSNBC HD, MYX, NBA TV HD, Padres Channel HD, PBS (KCET) HD, QVC HD, RetroPlex, Russia TV, Shop NBC, Showtime 2 East HD, Showtime East HD, Showtime Extreme HD, Showtime Showcase HD, SUR Mexico, Teleformula, Tennis Channel HD, The Weather Channel HD, TMC HD, TMC HD East, TruTV HD, Univision East, Univision HD, Venemovies, and WGN America HD
Beginning on or about December 8, 2009, the following services that are currently made available to customers in an analog (or both analog and digital) format will be made available in a digital format only: C-SPAN 2, Shop NBC, Travel Channel, TruTV, ABC Family, KNBC (Desert Cities & Desert Hot Springs Customers only), and KPSP (Banning, Beaumont, Cherry Valley Customers only). These channels will remain in their current tiers, as they will continue to be available in a digital format that can be viewed using two-way capable digital cable equipment, such as a standard digital cable box and remote or a CableCARD-equipped TiVo or Digeo HD DVR used in conjunction with a Tuning Adapter. Customers using other CableCARD-equipped Unidirectional Digital Cable Products (“UDCPs”) may not be able to access these channels on those devices absent additional equipment, such as a digital cable set-top box. (KNBC & KPSP will continue to be accessible on all UDCPs, as well as digital TVs (and other devices) that include a QAM tuner.) In addition, channels: ABC Family HD, AMC, Bravo, Bravo HD, FX, and FX HD in Desert Cities & Desert Hot Springs; ABC Family HD, Bravo, Bravo HD, BET, Spike TV, and VH1 in Yucca Valley; ABC Family HD, Bravo, Bravo HD, and Comedy Central in Banning, Beaumont and Cherry Valley will move to new channel locations. Also, the Hallmark Channel will now be available in our Variety Package on channel 274, rather than the Expanded Cable Package.
