Dig Safely

Safety Tip: Call Before You Dig

Before you dig into any outdoor home project, remember to use these public services to help keep you safe.

The North Carolina One-Call Center and the Palmetto Utility Protection Service (P.U.P.S.) let Time Warner Cable and other participating utilities know about planned digging or backhoeing, giving us time to mark our underground cables. These free services help you prevent personal injury, property damage and service interruptions caused by accidentally digging into cable, telephone, electric, gas, and water and sewer facilities.

If you're a Time Warner Cable phone customer, simply dial 811 to contact either of these services.
