Safety Tip: Call Before You Dig

 

Before you dig into any outdoor home project, remember Kansas One cal for Kansas residents and Missouri One Call (Dig Safely) for Missouri residents, a public service to help keep you safe.


Kansas One Call and Missouri One Call (Dig Safely) lets Time Warner Cable and other participating utilities know about planned digging or backhoeing, giving us time to mark our underground cables. This free service helps you prevent personal injury, property damage and service interruptions caused by accidentally digging into cable, telephone, electric, gas, and water and sewer facilities.


Kansas State law requires that Kansas One Call be notified by calling  811 at least 2 full working days and no more than 15 working days, before digging begins.

 

Missouri State law requires that Missouri One Call (Dig Safely) be notified by calling 1-800-DIG-Right or 811 at least 3 full working days and no more than 10 working days, before digging begins.
