Time to Read at Columbus Public Schools’ Dominion and East Pilgrim Schools

Time To Read works as a community partnership.  Time Warner Cable sponsors Time To Read and partners with local schools and other community organizations to operate a program.  The partnership is responsible for recruiting reading mentors and learners, providing a location for the tutoring to take place and a coordinator to oversee the program.

Time Warner Cable Mid Ohio Division currently sponsors two Time To Read programs, one at Dominion Middle School which utilizes employee volunteers and parents of Dominion Middle School students.  The second program is a community partnership in which East High School 9th grade students tutor fourth graders at East Pilgrim Elementary School.

Time Warner Cable Teacher Advisory Committee

Time Warner Cable is pleased to work with a group of dedicated K-12 teachers known as the Time Warner Cable Teacher Advisory Committee. This group of teachers meets quarterly to review cable’s educational resources and appropriateness for the classroom. They assist the Time Warner Cable Mid-Ohio Division in the communication and distribution of these resources to educators. New members are welcome.
