The Summer Olympics are here…Watch the games on Time Warner Cable.
NBC Universal Networks combine to present more than 3,600 hours of TV and Internet coverage from the Beijing Games, August 8-27. And Time Warner Cable customers will be able to enjoy many events that won’t be broadcast on NBC. Here’s a rundown of what’s on where:
- NBC – Prime time will feature live swimming, gymnastics, track and field, and beach volleyball, plus opening and closing ceremonies.
- CNBC – Long-form coverage of boxing on weekdays. Expanded long-form coverage of beach volleyball, soccer and tae kwon do on weekends.
- MSNBC – Live, weekday, long-form coverage of softball, soccer, beach volleyball, wrestling, canoeing, basketball, rowing and weightlifting. Weekend coverage of boxing.
- Bravo – A wide range of sports including tennis, equestrian, sailing, track cycling, archery, badminton, judo, synchronized swimming, handball and table tennis.
- USA Network – Live coverage of many of the USA women’s and men’s basketball games. Live start-to-finish coverage of the women’s cycling road race. Live, all-day coverage of the tennis gold medal finals.
- Oxygen – An insider’s look at gymnastics each weeknight, with a mix of in-depth analysis and exclusive athlete interviews, plus extensive coverage of equestrian, tennis, rhythmic gymnastics and synchronized swimming.
- NBC HD & Universal HD – Extensive HD coverage. The Beijing Games will be the first to be produced completely in HD.
And here’s exciting news – USA HD and Universal HD will be available and free to Time Warner Cable HD customers during the Summer Games. (Versus/Golf HD will not be available during this period.)
