Time Warner Cable places a high priority on good corporate citizenship and community service. Time to Give, developed by our Lincoln, Nebraska office in 2001, recognizes and rewards our employees for their volunteer efforts and for their philanthropic initiatives to help others.
Throughout the year, employees submit volunteer hours and participants are honored at the annual Holiday Party. The employee who accumulates the highest number of volunteer hours is named our “Volunteer of the Year” and a $300 donation is made to the nonprofit organization of his/her choice.
In six years, Time to Give volunteers have contributed more than 15,500 hours to over 70 different organizations located in the Nebraska towns served by Time Warner Cable. By reaching out to local communities where we serve, we believe that together we can make a difference.
Congratulations to Dave Barnes, our 2007 Employee Volunteer of the Year!
In 2007, Dave Barnes volunteered over 130 hours for local organizations and community events.
