Spotlight Awards

 

For the past fourteen years, Time Warner Cable National Division in Nebraska has recognized and rewarded area educators for their innovative use of cable TV resources and technology in their classrooms through the local annual Spotlight Awards.

 

Spotlight Awards is a local contest for educators (grades K-12). Projects must involve cable resources, either with national cable networks or local government, educational or public access programs, and technology.

 

Winners receive $250 cash, and the First Place Winners (in elementary, middle and high) schools will also each receive an LCD Projector.
 
***Deadline for applications is Wednesday, March 25, 2009 . ***

 

Award winners will be announced at our annual Spotlight on
Education Night dinner reception in May. 
 

Media Center of the Year Award

We have also created the Media Center of the Year Award to recognize local media center staff that encourages teachers to integrate cable TV programming in their classrooms.
