Navigator: Settings and Controls

No two homes are the same. So we’re making it possible to personalize your viewing experience. And we’re doing it in several ways you may not expect.

Customize your picture size. Choose the right audio output for your sound system. Set timers for sleep, picture off and day-to-day reminders. All within minutes.

Two very handy features are our Parental Controls and Favorite Channels. They offer you easy ways to control what you and your family watch. Want to block shows with adult language? No problem. Only interested in sports? Shows you want to watch will be waiting when you turn on your set.

This search feature doesn’t just scan programs for a day or two. You can search up to seven days into the future. Once you’ve found something of interest, set a reminder with the Navigator or schedule your DVR to record it.

Press the "List" button to see the main DVR screen.

Improved Parental Control
Block programming by content using the content advisory (language, violence, etc.), rating (TV-PG, TV-14, TV-MA, etc.), channel, time or title.
	Use the "Right Arrow" to highlight Parental Control.
	Highlight the blocking parameters and press "Select".
	Press "C" on your remote to save your settings
	Use the "Up Arrow" to highlight TURN ON
	Then press "Select" followed by your four-digit code to activate Parental Control.

Choose Favorite Channels
To set up a Favorite Channel
	Press the "Left Arrow" to highlight Favorite Channels.
	Choose "Set Up Favorites" then press select.
	Use "Up and Down Arrows" to choose your channel.
	Press "Select"
	A "Star" appears to the left of each favorite channel
To have your favorite channels appear first in the programming grid:
	Press the "Left Arrow" to highlight Favorite Channels.
	Choose Sort by Favorites then press "Select"
