TIME WARNER CABLE – KAYU UPDATE

Dear Loyal Customer:

It has been over a year since Fox-KAYU forced Time Warner Cable to take their signal off of our line up.   We surely are not happy these negotiations have lasted as long as they have.  This is truly an unprecedented situation that will be chronicled in media/broadcasting history books.

The negotiations with KAYU owners and our programming department are active and Time Warner Cable is acting with as much urgency as we have done so throughout this situation.  We are guardedly optimistic an agreement could come at any time.  As soon as it does, Fox will return immediately to your line up and we will do everything we can to communicate the good news.

Most of you have stuck by Time Warner Cable and you can’t begin to imagine how appreciative the local staff is for your loyalty, as tough as it may have been through the months.   From our Time Warner Cable family to yours, we thank you for your continued support and feedback.

Sincerely,

Deena Gibbs
General Manager
Time Warner Cable

We have just introduced a new and exciting product on our digital platform …. It’s Video On Demand (VOD).  Video on Demand brings you an entire video library right in your cable box!  From movies ranging from free to $3.95 and sports specials as well as access to your favorite programs from the most popular cable channels like A&E, CourtTV and many more for free. VOD allows you to watch programming in your library anytime you want, with full VCR functionality like rewind, fast-forward and pause.  We are so thrilled to bring you this new product and you should know, satellite can’t offer VOD; just another innovation from your local cable company.

If you have a digital receiver, you already have access to VOD.  Go to Channel 999 for a complete menu of programming, or access “ON DEMAND” in your on-screen guide main menu.
