Community Empowerment
To initiate, support and educate the people of San Antonio to become more active in their community by making a difference. Time Warner Cable facilitates community empowerment by identifying and recognizing community strengths and power. The principles in which Time Warner Cable follows are mutual respect, taking responsibility, building on community and family strengths and providing necessary tools to support community-based initiatives.

Arts & Culture
Nonprofit organizations that support arts and culture help to preserve the past, share the present and imagine the future. At Time Warner Cable we do our part to keep the arts alive in our communities. As an entertainment company, we believe that it is essential for families to take a break from their busy life and from work to enjoy the fruits of what San Antonio’s culture has to offer.
Areas of arts and culture that Time Warner Cable has supported are:
Visual Arts: Help to educate America on past and present issues. Support the institutions that showcase and preserve our history and culture.
Cultural History: Support educational and professional opportunities for the Black and Latino communities.
Literacy: Work to improve literacy rates in the U.S.
Media & Journalism: Use the power of the media to transform and enrich the lives of children. Standing behind the journalists (radio, television or print) who bring us news and information from around the world.
Music, Dance, Cinema & Theater: Offer support to keep the music flowing as a means to assist in providing an opportunity of a better chance of success for today’s youth.
