Two very handy features are our Parental Controls and Favorite Channels. They offer you easy ways to control what you and your family watch. Want to block shows with adult language? No problem. Only interested in sports? Shows you want to watch will be waiting when you turn on your set.
And as your needs change, so can your controls. A few simple commands from your remote control will let you reset the channels that appear as your personal favorites or what your children can watch even when you’re not there

Set Up Favorite Channels
To set up a Favorite Channel, press "Settings" arrow left/right to the Favorite Channels’ category
Choose Set up Favorites then press "Select"
Arrow up/down to choose the desired channel then press "Select"
A star icon appears to the left of each favorite channel
Display Favorite Channels First
Press "Settings" to access the Quick Settings Menu.
Arrow left/right to highlight Display.
Arrow down to highlight "Sort by Favorites" and press "Select"
Under the Settings Menu, arrow left/right to Parental Control
Arrow up/down to Blocking PIN and press "Select"
Enter the desired new PIN. The user is prompted to re-enter the PIN confirmation
How to Block Programming by Channel
Under Settings menu, scroll left/right and highlight Parental Control
Arrow up/down to Channel Block and press "Select"
A list of channels will appear, highlight and "Select" the channels you wish to block
The channel to be blocked displays in the list with the "locked" icon
Note: Parental Control Master On/Off setting must be "ON" for blocking to take effect
How to Block Programming by Content
Under Settings menu, arrow left/right and highlight Parental Control
Arrow up/down to Content Block and press "Select"
A list of Content Advisories will appear, highlight and "Select" the content you wish to block
The content category to be blocked displays in the list with the "locked" icon
Note: Parental Control MasterOn/Off setting must be “ON” for blocking to take effect
How to Block Programming by Rating
Under Settings menu, arrow left/right and highlight Parental Control
Arrow up/down to Rating Block and press "Select"
A list of ratings will appear, highlight and "Select" the content you wish to block
The rating category to be blocked displays in the list with the "locked" icon
Note: Parental Control MasterOn/Off setting must be "ON" for blocking to take effect
How to Block Programming by Time
Under Settings menu, arrow left/right and highlight Parental Control
Arrow up/down to Time Block and press "Select"
Highlight New Block and press "Select"
Use the arrow keys to select the day and the start/stop time of the time block
The selected time to be blocked displays in the list
Note: Parental Control Master On/Off setting must be "ON" for blocking to take effect
How to Block Programming by Title
Under Settings menu, arrow left/right and highlight Parental Control
Arrow up/down to Title Block and press "Select"
Title Block STATUS now reads ON. Programs blocked by Rating and/or Content will appear as "Title Blocked" in the Guide.
Note: Parental Control Master On/Off setting must be "ON" for blocking to take effect
Caller ID Prompts
Digital Phone users with Caller ID can choose to receive an on-screen Caller ID alert when an incoming call is received
Press "Settings" to access the Quick Settings Call Alert on/off toggle
Press "Select" to toggle the Caller ID call alert on
The caller name and number will appear on the screen whenever there is an incoming call
Press "Exit" to dismiss the on-screen call alert

Press “Settings” to access the Quick Settings Received Calls List
Select Received Calls and arrow up/down through the list to review the last 10 calls received
