San Diego County residents in grades 4 through 12 are eligible to participate.

One entry per student.

Essay must be solely the work of the entrant. The signature of the student's teacher is required as verification on entry forms.

Each entry must have a completed entry form, with contact information, stapled to the front of the essay. Entry forms are available at locations throughout San Diego County and online here.

This information is only used for San Diego's 50 Best Moms essay contest, and is not sold to anyone.

Entries must be postmarked and/or received at Time Warner Cable's San Diego office by March 15, 2008. The address is 10450 Pacific Center Court, San Diego, CA 92121.

Children of Time Warner Cable employees or presenting sponsors are not eligible to enter this contest.

Essays will not be returned to entrants. Due to the number of essays that we may receive, we will be unable to acknowledge receipt of each entry.

Previous Best Mom finalists are not eligible. All entries become the property of Time Warner Cable, San Diego.

Time Warner Cable is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed phone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failure of any kind.

Finalists agree to allow use of name, photos, and essays by Time Warner Cable and STAR 94.1 radio without compensation or consideration.

Taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the winner.
