Cable In The Classroom Grants

At Time Warner Cable education is the cornerstone of what we do.  Through initiatives such as Cable in the Classroom and Cable’s High Speed Education Connection, we use our vast network to deliver the resources of cable programming and technology at no cost to schools across our footprint.  Recognizing the need to expand access to these resources beyond the classroom, we also offer free cable modem and High Speed Online service to public libraries. Working with national and local partners, the company provides free Road Runner service to select community centers as well.  For consideration, please follow these guidelines to submit a TWC Community Grant and Sponsorship Application:

• Schools must have at least 25 students, be state-accredited and classes cannot be held in private homes
• In addition to the TWC Community Grant and Sponsorship Application, community centers may be required to submit the following items upon request:

Copies of W9, Tax ID number and confirmation of 501(c)(3) status A copy of current year budget A copy of most recent (no older than one year) annual report List of corporate partners and other funders List of Board of Directors and organizations they represent

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL GRANTS ARE GIVEN IN TWO-YEAR CYCLES, ALL RECIPIENTS WILL
BE REQUIRED TO RESUBMIT APPLICATION FOR PROGRAM EVALUATION AND CONSIDERATION FOR RENEWAL UPON THE COMPLETION OF EACH CYCLE.
