New Customer Billing Tips

 

Your first billing statement will include:

  • Prepayments
  • First month's service charges and installation charges.
  • Any promotional discounts to which you are entitled.

 

 

Important Billing Information:

  • Statements are mailed monthly.
  • Payments made by mail usually require 5 days to reach our offices. Please allow sufficient time when mailing your payment.
  • Please mail your payment in the envelope provided with the top portion of your statement.
  • Payment should be received by Time Warner Cable no later than the 'Due Date' shown on your statement.
  • If the bank returns your check to us, a service charge will be assessed to your account.
  • Credit card payments refused by the bank may be subject to a transaction fee. When you receive another invoice, if no payment has been received, this invoice will indicate "past due" charges and new or current charges. A collection fee will be assessed for a past due balance.
  • 35 days after your due date a disconnect notice will be sent to your home.
  • If payment still has not been received 45 days after your due date your service will be interrupted and may be disconnected.
  • Once an account has been disconnected for non-payment a reconnection fee, the outstanding balance and the firstmonth's service charge are required to be paid in advance in order to re-establish service.

 

 

 

How To Read Your Statement 

Your statement is comprised of two main sections:

  • The Account Summary section lists the current balance and lists the subtotals of each of your services.
  • The Statement Details provides a detailed description of each charge incurred during the billing cycle. 


ACCOUNT SUMMARY

The following picture shows an Account Summary section of a statement. The picture illustrates four important areas:

    1. The name on the account.

    2. Customer Code.

    3. Sub-totals for each section in your bill.

    4.The Total Amount Due for this statement.
