Time Warner Cable’s agreements with programmers and broadcasters to carry their services and stations routinely expire from time to time.  We are usually able to obtain renewals or extensions of such agreements, but in order to comply with applicable regulations, we must inform you when an agreement is about to expire.  The following agreements are due to expire soon, and we may be required to cease carriage of one or more of these services/stations in the near future: 

Granite Broadcasting, Choice TV, Gannett Broadcasting, BBC VOD,  CMT Pure Country, CNBC, CNBC World, Comedy Central, E! Entertainment, Fox Sports Ohio, Flix, Fuel TV, Game Show Network, Great American Country,  Inspirational Life, Logo, MSNBC, MTV, MTV Hits, MTV Jams, MTV2, MTV Tres, Nick Toons, Nickelodeon, Nick Too, Noggin, NBA TV,  Outdoor Channel, Palladia, Spike TV, Style, The N, TV Land, VH-1, VH-1 Classic, VH-1 Soul, Universal HD, USA, Sci-Fi Channel, Starz/Encore, Showtime/Movie Channel, Lifeskool VOD, Oxygen VOD, Weather Channel. 

In addition, from time to time we make certain changes in the services that we offer in order to better serve our customers.  The following changes are planned:

Effective 12/1/08, MOJO will be discontinued.    On 12/8/08, Versus/Golf HD will be split into two separate channels.  Versus HD will remain on channel 771 and Golf HD will be placed on channel 772.  This programming only affects customers with an HD Digital Set-top terminal.  Effective 12/15/08, a deactivation and reactivation fee of customer equipment will be $2.50.  Effective 12/31/08, the following changes will take place:  In Westfield, WICU & WSEE will be discontinued and CFTO will be added on channel 12.  In Olean, WGN will be discontinued and CFTO will be added on channel 20.  In Dunkirk, WICU, WSEE, WPIX and Global CIII will be discontinued and CNN International will be added on channel 11 and C-SPAN3 will be added on channel 14.  Effective 1/1/09, NBC Weather Plus will be discontinued.  Effective 1/1/09, MLB Network will be added on channel 175 to Digital Cable service  and MLB Network HD will be added on channel 775 of the high definition level of service of Digital Cable service.  Effective 1/30/09, Elections ‘08 On Demand will be discontinued. 

The new services listed below cannot be accessed on CableCARD-equipped Unidirectional Digital Cable Products purchased at retail without additional, two-way capable equipment.

MLB Network and Effective 1/1/09, Golf HD and Versus HD  

You may downgrade or terminate service without charge at any time. Further, if carriage of a premium channel is discontinued and you have incurred installation, upgrade or other one-time charges relating to such premium service within six months prior to the date of the change, you may elect to downgrade or terminate service within 30 days and obtain a rebate of any such charge.  

       

Home Phone Customers

For purposes of calculating the amount of New York State and local sales tax due, 21.39% of the charge for the phone service is attributable to interstate/international activity.
