Time Warner Cable SportsNet is the local home for amateur sports in Western New York. Coverage includes men's and womens' high school and college sports like football, hockey, basketball, lacrosse, softball, and baseball. In addition, subscribers will find unique sports shows with local celebrities like Rob Ray, Ruben Brown and Howard Simon. Partnerships across the region will provide coverage of AHL hockey, ECAC College hockey and games from the University at Buffalo, Niagara University, St. Bonaventure University and Syracuse University. Time Warner Cable SportsNet will also provide local access to shows that cover NASCAR, snowmobiling, Great Lakes fishing, and golf. Original Programming
Two of Western New York’s favorite athletes, former Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rob Ray and former Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Ruben Brown, host their own show, where they will talk with guests, take calls, comment on happenings with the Sabres, and “face -off” on the big issues around the NHL and NFL. With their unique brand of humor and insight into local sports, this show will be unpredictable and fun!

Howard Simon, Host of WGR 550’s The Howard Simon Show, takes you into the Bills’ and Sabres’ locker rooms. Viewers can get inside information from the players and coaches with no editing. Howard will also add his own two-cents in his segment “Simon Says.”
