Community Events Announcement
A Time Warner Cable Community Service
Please follow these simple guidelines:
Make certain the top of the form is complete. If you do not have an IRS non-profit number, your announcement may air, but only after those with numbers have received attention.
Remember, people do not turn on the television to read. When writing the announcement, think in headlines, not sentences, and try to follow the news story format of the "5 Ws": who, what, where, when & why. The last line should include a contact name and phone number.
Do not hyphenate or break words from one line to the other.
Put only one letter or punctuation mark in each space and allow for spaces between words. Think of the form as a parking lot ... we can get only one car in a spot. It is the organization's responsibility to make the information fit.
Submit your announcement at least two weeks in advance of your requested beginning date.
We try to honor all requests, but information is used on a first-come/first-served basis, and sometimes we cannot air an announcement as long as you or we would like.
Due to the number of requests we receive, we ask that you limit your requests to one a month.
For customers in Appleton, Green Bay, the Heart of the Valley, Neenah, Menasha, Marinette, Menominee, and Peshtigo:
Community Event Announcements are free to non-profit groups and organizations.
Paid advertising is available through Time Warner Cable Media Sales.
