What is Movies On Demand?

  • Watch movies -- whenever you want.
  • Start at the touch of a button and pause, rewind and fast-forward just like a VCR.
  • Pay only for the movies you choose and get all-day access -- so you can watch each movie for up to 24 hours.
  • Choose from hundreds of choices in New Hits, Classic Hits, and Adult titles.
  • There's always a huge selection.
  • New movies are added every week. 
  • Titles are always in-stock, and there are no late fees.

Find a Movie

  1. Tune to Movies On Demand (channel 1000).
  2. If you don't know the channel number, you can find it by browsing the on-screen
    Program Guide. Press the GUIDE button to bring up the Program Guide. Then
    press the UP or DOWN arrow buttons to find Movies On Demand and press the
    SELECT button.
  3. Use the LEFT and RIGHT arrow buttons to scroll through the Movie categories.
    Choose from Action, Comedy, Family, and more.
  4. Use the UP or DOWN arrow buttons to select a movie. When you highlight a
    movie, a brief description and the cost for the movie will appear automatically.
  5. If you want more information about a movie, press the SELECT button.
  6. To return to the main menu, press the C button.

Buy a Movie

  1. When you have chosen a movie, press the B button to buy the movie.
  2. You will be asked to confirm your purchase-- this prevents accidental purchases.
    Press the B button to confirm.
  3. If you have set up Purchase Protection, or Parental Controls, and the movie you
    have selected is restricted, you will be asked to enter your PIN number to confirm
    your purchase.

VCR/VOD Option

  1. Before you start watching, make sure the VCR/VOD option on your remote is set
    to VOD -- that stands for Video On Demand.
  2. Some remotes have a switch; others a button. If your remote has neither, it will
    work automatically - you don't have to change anything.

Watch the Movie

  1. Press the PLAY button to start the movie.
  2. You can pause, rewind, and fast-forward the movie using your remote control.
  3. You can stop the movie and pick up where you left off for up to 24 hours.
  4. To resume playing from where you left off, press the PLAY button. To restart the
    movie from the beginning, press the A button.
  5. You can also change channels to watch regular TV or even turn it off. Your movie
    will be available for you to watch when you return.

Return to Your Movie Later

  1. To return to your movie later, tune to Movies On Demand. Then use the LEFT or
    RIGHT arrow buttons to select the Purchased category at the bottom of the
    screen.
    • You will see a list of your current purchases.
    • A small Paid ticket symbol appears next to each movie that you have ordered.
    • You will also see the time you have left to watch the movie.
  2. Press the PLAY button to watch from where you left off. If you want to restart
    your movie from the beginning, press the STOP button and then the A button.

Featured Movies

  1. Each month, as soon as the top hit movies become available on iControl, they are
    featured on the Program Guide on their own channels. This allows you to find
    the new releases quickly, without browsing the full Movies On Demand menu.
  2. Press the GUIDE button to view the Program Guide. Now locate the Movies On
    Demand channel. Next to this, you'll find each of the current featured movie
    titles.
  3. When you press the SELECT button, you'll go straight to the Purchase screen.
    From here, follow the instructions for buying the movie.
