With our exciting new Enhanced TV feature, you can cast your
vote right on TV.

Your opinion counts, and now with Digital Cable you can participate in on-screen voting and polling right here in the Capital Region. It’s FREE with a Digital Cable subscription.

All you need is your digital remote control to cast your anonymous vote. You’ll see a voting prompt appear while watching a program, commercial or during special shows, such as political debates or "Degrassi, The Next Generation" on The N. To vote, follow the simple on-screen instructions. While you can’t influence the outcome of the actual election or show, you have the power to give your opinion and see what others think, too!

Voting on TV is fun and easy.
While watching a program or commercial, a voting prompt will be generated at the bottom of your TV screen. It will contain a popular question such as:

"Who do you think should win the election?"
"Will the local football team win the championship?"
"What should the new baby giraffe at the zoo be named?"

To vote, grab your remote control and:

Press [“A”] for option one
Press [“B”] for option two
Press [“C”] for option three

You can vote only once per question per Digital Cable set-top box. There may be several different polls during a program each containing a different question, so you can vote more than once during a program. Your vote will be added anonymously and tallied with the others in the Capital Region. The results will be displayed afterwards, either during or at the end of the program.

You decide whether to vote or not - you’re in control.
When you see the voting prompt, you can choose to cast your vote or just ignore it if you don’t feel like voting on a particular topic. The prompt will disappear in a few seconds if you decide not to participate. A program may contain a few opinion polls, so you can vote on some and not on others. It’s your choice.
