Silver Remote (Universal UR4-P360)

The Universal remote model UR4-P360 (commonly called "the silver remote") is a newer model of our digital cable remote controls. This highly functional remote is capable of interacting with most televisions and VCRs as well as your digital cable. Below is a picture of the remote with the common functions pointed out. Detailed descriptions of some of the more complex buttons are located below.

Menu Arrows and Select
Navigate through menus with the arrow and make your choice with the SELECT button. For example, while watching a channel, browse through descriptions of shows on other channels with up & down arrows or through time with left & right arrows.

Display the program guide to a list of channels, record, and set a reminder.

Info
Bring up information on the current channel and show or on any option that is selected in the programming guide.

Guide
Display the program guide to a list of channels and shows, record, and set a reminder.

This button is for future use.

Move up or down five selections in the programming guide

Settings
Press once for quick settings, press twice for more settings. With quick settings, you can start recording, set a sleep timer, set a channel favorite, turn on parental controls. With more settings, you can set more than 20 personal preferences, including blocking PINs and timer functions.
