Registering for 'My Account'
There can be some confusion when you sign up for access to 'My Account' to see your Digital Phone account details online because the Albany Division account numbers are sometimes seen as 14 digits long and sometimes as nine digits. Please follow the instructions for the Albany Division below.
1. From the Digital Phone details homepage, click on the link for My Account or go there now.
2. Click on 'New Customer Registration'
3. There are three entry boxes to register.
4. The first box instructions are: "Enter your ten-digit Time Warner Cable Digital Phone number (example: 2075551212)".
For our Capital Region customers, the example should be more like 5185551234.
5. The second box instructions are "Enter your Time Warner Cable account number, located in the upper left-hand corner of your Time Warner Cable bill (0000000012345678)."
For our Capital Region customers, this is the nine-digit number that's indicated by the red type on your bill. Your entire account number is 14 digits, but we need only the nine digits in red. Enter those in the second entry box without the hyphen.
6. (Starting Nov. 26, 2007) The third box asks for your "Customer Code". This number is found on your bill and is asked for security reasons. See a sample bill for the location of the customer code.
* Unlimited calling across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico for customers with standard Digital Phone service. Digital Phone does not include back-up power and, as in the case with an electric-powered home cordless phone, should there be a power outage, Digital Phone, including the ability to access 9-1-1 services, may not be available. Additional charges apply for taxes, fees, Directory Assistance, Operator Services and calls to International locations. For purposes of calculating the amount of New York State and local sales tax due, 21.39% of the charge for the phone service is attributable to interstate/international activity. Offer valid for residential customers in Digital Phone serviceable areas.
