Figure 1: Correct lighting configuration.
- Battery 1 light: Battery is charged (if 'Battery 1' light is blinking then it is charging).
- Telephone 1 light: Telephone wire is properly inserted in jack in the back and phone is on the hook.
- Online light: Ethernet wire is properly inserted in jack in the back.
- US and DS lights: Signal levels are OK.

Figure 2: Standby lighting configuration.
- Online light: Internet service is not available.
- Check to see if the ethernet wire is properly inserted in jack in the back.
- US and DS lights: They're blinking, which indicates the modem may be in 'standby' mode.
- Resolution:
- Press and hold the 'Standby' button for three seconds.
- Lights should appear as in Figure 1.
- If this does not resolve the problem, then call us on your home phone by dialing 611 for direct home phone technical support. The phone service works in 'Standby' mode, but your internet service will not work.

Figure 3: No AC power lighting configuration.
- Battery 1 light: Battery is powering the modem. If the battery were dead, no lights would be on. Battery life expectancy is approximately four hours after modem loses AC power.
- Power light: Light is blinking, which means no AC power.
- Resolution:
- Check the AC power cord. Make sure it's plugged into the back of the modem and into an active AC outlet.
- If this does not resolve the problem, then call us on your home phone by dialing 611 for direct home phone technical support. If the battery dies and there are no lights on the modem, then you don't have home phone service. Please use an alternate phone to call us at 1-866-321-CABLE.
