WAMCWAMC Northeast Public Radio's The Round Table
Monday - Friday 9am - noon

From the clean-up of the Hudson River to the elections in Iraq, award-winning journalists Susan Arbetter and Joe Donahue report the day's news, interview local and national newsmakers and chat with fascinating people from around the corner and around the world.

Recent Roundtable guests include Hillary Clinton, The CATO Institute's Michael Tanner, Walter Cronkite, Bernard Wasow of the Century Foundation, Maya Angelou, Gene Wilder and Alan Dershowitz.

The Roundtable has become a community forum on issues such as aid for victims of the Tsunami and casino gambling. Plus, each day Susan and Joe conduct conversations on a variety of topics such as local development, the new FDA food pyramid, and the Sudan.

These aren't rants. They are intelligent conversations with the experts. And they have fun too. Local booksellers, restaurateurs, community organizers and the local balloon festival guy all have a place at the Roundtable. Finally, to round out each day's broadcast, Performance Place provides a thought-provoking thematic musical exploration.
