Commitment to Community

Central Texas Communities

Time Warner Cable is Central Texas’ Only “Green” Communication Company

Time Warner Cable is proud to be a GreenChoice® Corporate Champion, and is dedicated to preserving and enhancing our unique quality of life. In partnership with the Green Power Partnership, Time Warner commits to purchasing enough green power to cover 20 percent of its annual power needs.

This energy comes from clean, renewable sources such as the wind and the sun. It reduces pollution and the reliance on other sources such as natural gas.

"Partnering with the EPA Green Power Partnership gives Time Warner Cable Central Texas another avenue to contribute to the health of our community by reducing emissions associated with conventional electricity generation," said Kathy Brabson, President of Time Warner Cable Central Texas. "Our partnership reflects the commitment we have to the Central Texas community. It also encourages our more than 1,400 employees to be more energy and environmentally sensitive."
