10 miles northwest of Fairmont on U.S. 250 in Mannington.

Built in 1912 as Wilson School. Now houses antiques and artifacts including the bed and dresser of Francis Pierpont, governor of Virginia when West Virginia became its own state in 1863.

Named after the 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist from Marion County, this park cover 25 acres with baseball fields, a picnic pavilion, playground and the WV Miner's Memorial.

This nationally sanctioned facility hosts local and state qualifying races on an irregular, closed course with obstacles, berms, and left and right turns.

Historic Downtown Fairmont
A renaissance in progress, preserving some of the beautiful historic architecture from Fairmont's early industrial boom in the mid-1800s and the energy boom of the late 1800s. A cooperative effort of Main Street Fairmont and the Fairmont Community Development Partnership.
