What is the Power-On Channel?
You can set your Digital cable box so that every time you turn it on, your TV automatically tunes to your Favorite Channel.

When your cable box was installed, a Power-On Channel may have been set up. These instructions show you how to change it very easily to suit your needs.
 
Setting Up the Power-On Channel
  1. Press the SETTINGS button on your remote control to display the Quick Settings menu on your TV screen.

  2.  Press the A button to display the detailed General Settings menu.

  3.  Press the UP or DOWN arrow buttons to find the Power-On Channel.

    Then press the SELECT button.
  4. Press the UP or DOWN arrow buttons to find the channel you want. You can also scroll faster with the PAGE +/ - button.

  5. Once you have found the channel you want, press the A button to accept your choice.

Choosing Last Channel
  1. You can also select Last Channel as your Power-On Channel. Your TV will tune to the last channel you watched before turning off the cable box.
  2. When you are in the Power-On Channel option in the General Settings menu, scroll past the list of channels to find the choice called Last Channel.

  3. Once you have selected Last Channel, press the A button to accept your choice.

How to Use the Power-On Channel
Once you have set up your Power-On Channel, you don't have to do anything else. Now, every time you turn on your cable box, the TV will automatically tune to your Power-On Channel.

Tip: The Power-On Channel setting works only if you turn your TV off and on using your cable box by pressing the CBL button.
