Program Guide: Detailed Program Listings | Browse Channels | Get More Info | Select a Show | Exit the Program Guide

In this tutorial, you will learn how to browse channels using the Channel Banner and the on-screen Program Guide.

Channel Banner:
Quick Program Information

1. When you change channels, the Channel Banner appears automatically at the bottom of your screen.
   
   
   
   
2. You can also display the Channel Banner any time by pressing the INFO button on your remote control.
   
   
   
   
3. The banner tells you which channel you're on, the title of the show you're watching, the current time, when it started, and when it ends.

Browse Listings

1. While the Channel Banner is up on the screen, you can browse other program listings without leaving the show you're currently watching:
   
   
   1. Press the UP or DOWN arrow buttons to display information for shows playing on other channels.
      
      
      
      
      
      
   2. Press the LEFT or RIGHT arrow buttons to display information for shows playing at other times of the day.
      
        
      
      
   3. The information for the show you're currently watching stays on screen, but moves to a smaller bar.
      

Get More Info

1. If you find an interesting program, you can get more information by pressing the INFO button again. At the bottom of the screen, you now see a full description of the program.
   
   
2. If there is more than one page of information, you will see the Page +/- symbol. This lets you know that you can press the PAGE +/- button to get to the next page.
   
   
   

Select a Program

When you find a program you like, press the SELECT button to tune to it instantly.

Exit the Channel Banner

If you prefer to keep watching your original program, press the EXIT button to exit the Channel Banner.

Program Guide:
Detailed Program Listings

1. Press the GUIDE Button on your remote to display the Program Guide.
   
   
   
   
   1. The show you're currently watching will shrink to a small window in the top right corner.
      
      
      
      
   2. The channel grid will appear at the bottom of the screen showing what's on TV at other times of day or other channels.
      
      
   3. In the top left of the screen is a description of the highlighted show.

Browse Channels

1. To see what is on other channels, use the UP or DOWN arrow buttons. Or, enter a specific channel number and press the SELECT button.
   
   
2. To see what's on at other times of the day use the LEFT and RIGHT arrow buttons to see what is on at other times of the day.

   Note: As you scroll through programs, the information in the upper left will change to describe the highlighted program.

Get More Info

1. When you find a show you're interested in, press the INFO button to get more information, such as a longer program description, actors, and program rating.
   
   
2. Press the INFO button again to return to the program grid.

Select a Show

When you find a program you like, press the SELECT button to tune to it instantly.

Exit the Program Guide

To keep watching your original program, press the EXIT button to return to it full screen.
