What is a Universal Remote?

Your Digital Remote Control is a Universal Remote that can control your cable box, TV, VCR and Stereo (on some models). This allows you to control all your equipment without using separate remote controls.

In order for your remote to work on all your equipment, your remote must be programmed for your own equipment.

How to Program Your Remote

1. Your cable installer may have already programmed your remote for some of these functions. If this not done, you can program your remote yourself. You may also need to program your remote if you move your TV, get new equipment, or the batteries on your remote expire.

2. Click here for complete instructions. You'll get the codes for your specific brands of equipment and step-by-step instructions. If you have any problems, call customer service.
