How do I know if I own a digital-TV ready set?

Answer:

What you need to know is whether your TV set has a built in "digital tuner." Take the quiz at www.dtvtransition.org. You can also consult your TV set owners manual or look up the information on the manufacturer's website. Many TVs sold since 1998 include a digital tuner – even those that aren’t high-definition. If you bought your TV set before 1998, it most likely doesn't have a digital tuner.
