Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ  >> Cable  >> Start Over
Q:What are the differences between Start Over and the DVR?
A:The DVR is for recording shows in their entirety for viewing on your schedule. You can record a program as you view it in progress or program your DVR in advance for when you’re not home. Start Over is for you to use when you are home but may have missed the beginning of a show. You can start over a program that's in progress but only during that program's broadcast window. Also, the DVR allows for all VCR-like functions – play, pause, stop, rewind and fast-forward. The fast-forward button does NOT work with Start Over.
