Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ  >> Digital Phone Service  >> Installation, Equipment and Service
Q:Can I disconnect my current phone service once Digital Phone has been installed?
A:

Yes. If you are keeping your current phone number, you do not need to contact your current service provider. You will continue to receive service from that provider until Time Warner Cable completes your installation. Once the installation is complete and your phone number is successfully transferred, we will contact your current service provider to ensure it is disconnected.

If you ordered a new phone number from Time Warner Cable and no longer desire service from your current provider, you will need to contact them to disconnect your service. We recommend that you disconnect your current service after the Time Warner Digital Phone installation is complete so you are not without phone service.

** Vonage customers are required to personally call Vonage as soon as their Time Warner Cable Digital Phone installation is complete.
