How To Set Up a PIN Number

1. Press the “Settings” button on your remote control to get to the QUICK SETTINGS screen. Press “A” for more settings. This will bring up the GENERAL SETTINGS screen.
2. Use arrow keys to scroll down to “PARENTAL CONTROL” section. When “BLOCKING PIN” is highlighted, press “SELECT.” Use arrow key to highlight “CHANGE.” Press “SELECT.”
3. Enter the default PIN 0-0-0-0. As prompted, enter your new 4-digit PIN #. You will be prompted to re-enter your new PIN # to confirm. Press “A” for O.K.
   

How To Activate Parental Control

1. Press the “Settings” button to get to the QUICK SETTINGS screen.
2. Use up & down arrow keys to highlight “ACTIVATE PARENTAL CONTROL.” Use left & right arrow keys to select “YES.”
3.  As prompted, enter your PIN #. Press “A” to confirm.\

How To Block Programming by Channel, Ratings and Time

1. Press the “Settings” button to get to the QUICK SETTINGS screen.
2. Press “A” for more Settings. This will bring up the GENERAL SETTINGS screen. Use up & down arrow keys to find the blocking options.

BLOCK BY CHANNEL

1. Highlight “BLOCKED CHANNELS” and press “SELECT.”
2. Use up & down arrow keys to highlight the channels you wish to block. As each channel is highlighted, press “SELECT” to block.
3. To unblock, highlight channel and press “SELECT.” If parental control is activated, you will be prompted to enter your PIN #. Highlight and Select all channels you wish to unblock.
   

BLOCK BY RATINGS

1. Use up & down arrow keys to find and highlight “BLOCKED RATINGS.” Press “SELECT.”
2. Use up & down arrow keys to highlight each of the ratings you want to block. Press “SELECT” as each rating is highlighted. Press “A” to accept your selection.
3. To unblock, highlight and select each rating you wish to unblock. If Parental Control is activated, you will be prompted to enter your PIN # before making any changes.

BLOCK BY TIME

1. Use up & down arrow keys to find and highlight “BLOCKED TIME.” Press “SELECT.”
2. Use arrow keys to highlight the day of the week and times you wish to block. Press “A” to accept your selection. After the blocked time period, the programming will automatically be turned back on.
3. To unblock, use the arrow keys to select “OFF.”
