We’re always working to make Digital Home Phone Service even better and we’ve just added to the list of great features included in our low monthly price. If you subscribe to both Digital Home Phone Service and Digital Cable, you can enjoy the added convenience of using your TV as a Caller ID display. When the phone rings, the caller’s name and phone number are shown in the top left hand corner of your television screen. Now you don’t have to get up to decide whether you want to answer the phone or not.
This feature is automatically added to your Digital Home Phone Service at no extra charge. So you don’t have to do anything except activate the Caller ID feature on your TV to enjoy the extra convenience it provides. Simply follow the instructions below to turn Caller ID on TV on and off as well as to view a listing of the last 10 calls.
To turn Caller ID on TV on: 1. Press on your remote control. 2. Select "Caller ID." The display will read "Call Alert OFF." 3. Press SELECT on your remote control and "Call Alert ON" will appear with a check mark.
To turn Caller ID on TV off: 1. Press on your remote control. 2. Select "Caller ID" and scroll down to "Call Alert ON." 3. Press SELECT on your remote control and "Call Alert OFF."
To see who the last 10 callers were: 1. Press on your remote control 2. Select "Caller ID." The display will read "Received Calls." 3. Press SELECT on your remote control to view your last 10 calls received.
