Bill Goetz is Time Warner Cable’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Residential Services. In this role, Bill is responsible for operations of the company’s $18 billion residential services business, including marketing, sales, customer care and technical operations.
Mr. Goetz is an accomplished cable industry executive and a 30-year veteran in the business. Since joining Time Warner Cable in 2002, he has overseen, with few exceptions, numerous of the company’s major operations nationwide and has helped the company successfully navigate through a multitude of product launches and customer service initiatives. Mr. Goetz is a strong leader who is firmly grounded in the customer experience and committed to Time Warner Cable’s mission to make customers’ lives simpler and easier.
Prior to his current appointment in January 2013, Mr. Goetz served as Executive Vice President of Operations for the company’s West Region, a position he assumed in 2009. Previously, he spent nearly 20 years at Comcast, where he held various executive positions in regional operations and general management, including Senior Vice President, Southeast Region.
Mr. Goetz received a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York’s College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, N.Y., and a master’s degree in accounting from Syracuse University. He is active in the cable industry, including work with the Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), and Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT).
