Charlotte, NC –Time Warner Cable customers can now schedule one-hour arrival windows for residential installation and repair. The one-hour windows mean a technician is scheduled to arrive within that timeframe to begin work.
“We want to make things simple and easy for our customers to do business with us,” says Darrel Hegar, regional vice president of operations, Time Warner Cable Carolinas. “The shorter arrival windows offer new and existing customers more options during the day, at night and on weekends to help accommodate their busy schedules.”
The shortened arrival windows for installation and repair are currently available across Time Warner Cable systems in South Carolina and in the Charlotte, Raleigh, Fayetteville, Wilmington and Coastal areas in North Carolina. Greensboro repair appointments have also gone to one-hour windows, with installation being added in the coming weeks.
Across North and South Carolina, Time Warner Cable technicians visit customer homes more than 150,000 times a month to install new products and provide high quality service. “It is rare for any service or delivery company to commit to arriving within an hour. Time Warner Cable is continuously looking for ways to improve the customer experience and we feel confident one-hour arrival windows will be popular with customers.” adds Hegar.
In addition to the one-hour arrival windows, Time Warner Cable offers other convenient options for customers to obtain services. By using an Easy Connect self-installation kit, customers don’t have to wait for a technician at all. They can connect their services on their own with a prepackaged installation kit. They can also order several Time Warner Cable products through Impulse Ordering. Impulse Ordering gives customers the ability to order products with their remote control and have instant access.
