What are TWC WiFi® Hotspots?
TWC WiFi Hotspots provide public wireless Internet access. They can be found nationwide in both indoor and outdoor locations. Access is free for qualified TWC Internet customers. Free Trial and Access Pass options are also available for those who do not qualifiy.
TWC Business Class High Speed Internet customers can become a TWC WiFi Hotspot at no charge to them if they meet business location and type criteria. By becoming a TWC WiFi Hotspot, businesses can provide free WiFi to their customers without impacting their own businesses internet bandwidth or security.
Who can access TWC WiFi® Hotspots?
Qualified Time Warner Cable customers get free access to TWC WiFi and partner hotspots nationwide. To qualify for free access, Business Class Customers must be current Internet customers and Residential customers must have Standard Internet or higher. Free Trial and Access Pass options are avaiable for those who do not qualify.
Where are TWC WiFi® Hotspots?
TWC WiFi Hotspots are available in major cities across the country including Los Angeles, Kansas City, Charlotte, New York, Hawaii, and Austin. TWC WiFi Hotspots can be found outdoors, such as in parks or shopping areas or indoors at specific business locations.
What businesses qualify to host a TWC WiFi® Hotspot?
Time Warner Cable Business Class High Speed Internet customers in TWC WiFi serviceable areas that operate in areas with regular customer and foot traffic are good candidates for hosting a TWC WiFi Hotspot at no additional charge. TWC WiFi is currently launched in Charlotte, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Austin, and New York Metro. Restaurants, doctors’ offices and car repair shops are just some examples of typical TWC WiFi host businesses.
Why would I put a TWC WiFi® Hotspot in my business location?
Having a TWC WiFi Hotspot at your business location provides many benefits to Business Class Customers with High Speed Internet including:
- Exposure to millions of potential customers. Your business name, contact information and website address will be featured on the WiFi Coverage Map and free WiFi Finder app available on Google Play and the App Store.
- Equipment, installation, marketing, and support are provided free of charge for businesses that host a TWC WiFi Hotspot.
- Customization options that allow you to place your business logo a marketing message and more on the WiFi Sign In portal.
- Free access to hundreds of thousands of TWC and partner WiFi hotspots nationwide.

What is CableWiFi®?
CableWiFi® is a network name that qualified TWC customers can access in order to connect to free WiFi when they are traveling outside of the Time Warner Cable serviceable area..
The CableWiFi network is a result of collaboration among TWC and other U.S. Internet service providers (ISPs) that enables customers of the partner ISPs to access each other’s WiFi.
Qualified Time Warner Cable Internet customers can connect to this network for free using the same credentials they use to access TWC WiFi.
Because this is a reciprocal agreement, Business Class customers who have a TWC WiFi Hotspot may notice that there are additional network names being broadcast on their TWC WiFi Access Point (hotspot). This would include CableWiFi and may include other ISP partner network names like XFinity, Bright House Networks, Cablevision and others. This is normal and causes no interference with patrons being able to use and access the TWC WiFi Hotspot in your place of business.
I have a TWC WiFi® Management Portal question.
The TWC WiFi Hotspots for Business Management Tool can be accessed at www.admin.twcwifi.com. You will need your username and password in order to log-in.
Once you have logged in you will be able to customize the TWC WiFI sign-in portal that your customers see when they access TWC WiFi from your business location. Specifically, you can modify this portal by adding your business logo, crafting a customer message, and selecting the amount of free WiFi access you wish to grant your customers.

How do I access TWC WiFi®Hotspot?
Any existing Business Class Internet customer can access TWC and partner WiFi hotspots using the Business Class credentials they use to access other TWC Account information. This includes your My Account username and password or your TWC-issued email and password. To access TWCWiFi, follow these easy steps:
- Be sure your mobile device has WiFi capabilities and is that WiFi feature is turned on
- Select the TWCWiFi network name from network options
- Sign In with credentials
- Accept Terms of Service and connect to TWC WiFi

How do I reorder marketing materials?
If you find you need to reorder TWC WiFi marketing materials such as instruction cards, contact your Sales Representative.
How is this different than WiFi for my employees?
A TWC WiFi Hotspot network provides a public WiFi option for your patrons while they are at your place of business. To provision this service, TWC provides a wireless router with internet that is separate from the internet and wireless router used to support your professional business needs so patron use of TWC WiFi will not interfere or degrade your existing business internet. As a Time Warner Cable Business Class High Speed Internet Customer, you may have WiFi LAN installed at your business. WiFi LAN is intended for employee use and offers security features designed for business use wich distinguishes it from public facing TWC WiFi.
