What should I do if I think that the data usage information is incorrect on the Usage Tracker?:


  1. Consider the types of Internet activity used by all members of the household during that time period. Usage Tracker includes helpful information on how much data certain types of Internet activities use. For example, streaming a movie over the Internet uses more data than email.

  2. If there is an open, or unsecured, wireless connection in the household, Time Warner Cable recommends using a password-protected wireless connection to ensure those nearby are not accessing the Internet in error.

  3. Remember that it can take up to 2 days for usage on the Usage Tracker to show up in any data usage category due to delays in reporting and processing data records.
