Where can I download the McAfee AntiVirus and Family Protection product?

Answer:

  1. Visit http://www.rr.com/security and select the online security product.
  2. In the Time Warner Cable security landing page, click on the Register Now button for either the free version of the McAfee AntiVirus or McAfee Family Protection product.
    Note: You will also have the option to upgrade, at a special discounted rate, to McAfee Total Protection which includes anti-malware, anti-spam and a firewall solution. 
  3. Fill out the registration page with your TWC Mail address and password. Then click on the Continue button.
  4. Create your McAfee account username and password. Then click on the Download Now button.
    Note: You must use your TWC Mail address as your McAfee account username to qualify for the free products.
  5. Select the McAfee product you want to download and click the Download button.
  6. Click on the I Agree button to accept the McAfee End User License Agreement.
  7. The Free Security Download Instructions page will appear. Click on the Download button. Instructions on how to download properly are presented to you in the lower half of the page.
  8. Once the download is complete you will be able to install the McAfee product immediately.
