How do I access my firewall on my Mac?:

  1. Select System Preferences... from the Apple menu.
  2. Click Security.
  3. Click the Firewall tab.

    Note: If the Start button is gray and you can’t click it, click the lock icon at the bottom of the window, and enter your administrator password when prompted.

  4. Click Start.
  5. Click Advanced....
  6. Select the desired firewall configuration.
  7. To create program exceptions, click the plus sign (+).
  8. Select the desired programs.
  9. Click Add.
  10. Repeat for each program you'd like to add.
  11. Select whether to Allow incoming connections or Block incoming connections for the programs in your list.
  12. Click OK.
  13. Close the Security window.
