Yes. If you are keeping your current phone number, you do not need to contact your current primary service provider. You will continue to receive service from that provider until Time Warner Cable completes your installation. Once the installation is complete and your phone number is successfully transferred, we will contact your current primary service provider to ensure it is disconnected. (Note: Customers will need to contact their long distance provider to cancel service)
If you ordered a new phone number from Time Warner Cable and no longer desire service from your current provider, you will need to contact them to disconnect your service. We recommend that you disconnect your current service after the Time Warner Home Phone installation is complete so you are not without phone service.
** Vonage customers are required to personally call Vonage as soon as their Time Warner Cable Home Phone installation is complete.
