Question:

Why did my screen size change all of a sudden?

Answer:

If you have a standard definition TV set and an HD set-top box, your aspect ratio (the screen size displayed on your TV) may change when Auto HD is enabled.

 

To fix this, turn off Auto HD using the following directions:

 

  1. Press the Settings button on your remote.
  2. Scroll using the right and left arrow keys until High Definition is highlighted.
  3. Scroll using the up and down keys until Auto HD is highlighted.
  4. Press the Select button on your remote to turn Auto HD on or off.
