How can I make the Caller ID call alert display disappear from the TV screen?

Answer:

The Caller ID Call Alert will disappear if you press any of the following buttons on your remote:

  • Exit
  • Guide
  • A or Menu (this brings up the Find Channels menu)
  • Settings
  • List
  • Record
  • Info

Pressing any other buttons on the remote will not affect the Caller ID Call Alert.

In addition, you can disable the display of Caller ID Alerts from the Quick Settings section of the Settings menu.

To disable Caller ID on TV:

  1. Press Settings
  2. Scroll up/down to Caller ID
  3. Press Select to turn the status off

Note: Caller ID on TV may not be available in all areas; please Contact Us for details on availability.
