What are Alerts on the Guide?

Answer:

Alerts are colors on the on-screen program Guide that denote which programs have special statuses:

  • Purple: Programs that you set a reminder for
  • Red: Programs that are recording or are scheduled to record on your DVR
  • Green: Movies and programs that you have purchased.

You'll also notice that there are corresponding icons for each alert that also displays within the colored cells, including scheduled recordings, reminders to watch selected programs and purchased programs.
