Can I move a set-top box to another room within my house?

Answer:

You can try to move a set-top box to another location within your house that has an active cable TV outlet. However, the success of the move and recognition of your set-top box depends on the wiring within your house. If the set-top box does not work and the Whole House HD-DVR functionality is not available, please chat online with us to determine if a Field Technician is required to re-establish that particular set-top box with your home network.
