Activating Call Waiting & Call Waiting Caller ID | Time Warner Cable

  1. Click the Settings tab to see the Summary of Settings screen.
  2. Select Call Waiting.
  3. Click the "Notify me when I’m on the phone and receive another call" radio button to enable Call Waiting. When Call Waiting is enabled, you will hear an alert tone when you have another incoming call.
  4. Click the "Display Caller ID information for waiting calls" to enable Call Waiting Caller ID. The name and number of the waiting caller will appear when you hear the Call Waiting tone.
  5. To save your changes, click the Save button at the bottom right.
  6. If you subscribe to more than one phone line, you can select an alternate number to manage in the For Phone Line drop-down menu.
