Road Runner Select Plan
More Information

Time Warner Cable is working to provide the best service possible to its subscribers. By implementing the Road Runner Select Plan, we are able to ensure that all subscribers within the tier receive an equivalent Internet experience.

What happens if I go over my usage level?
If you go over your current usage level, you can choose to move to a higher tier of Road Runner service, which provides faster speeds and more bandwidth per month; or, you may choose to stay at the same tier of service and be charged a $1 per GB per month for additional usage.

What is the bandwidth usage level for my Road Runner Select Package?
Bandwidth usage levels are based upon the tier of service that you subscribe to via Road Runner. You can view your current level at selfcare.rr.com. Four levels of service are available, including: RR Lite: 5GB, RR Basic: 10GB, RR Standard: 20GB, RR Turbo: 40GB.

How do I obtain more bandwidth?
To obtain a higher bandwidth level, you may upgrade to a higher tier of service by contacting our office at 888.892.1094.

Is Time Warner Cable tracking the Web sites that I utilize?
No, Time Warner Cable is not tracking the Web sites that you access; we are only tracking the amount of Internet data that has been consumed.

How can I track my usage?
A Select Plan tracking tool has been developed for subscribers to track and view their billing cycle usage. To access this tool, please log on to selfcare.rr.com.

Does every Internet transaction utilize bandwidth?
Yes, every Internet transaction utilizes some form of bandwidth. Web sites and activities such as music downloads or video sharing will use much more bandwidth than reading news stories.

If I have a wireless network, will all computers accessing the Internet be counted toward my consumption cap?
Yes, all computers connecting to the Internet via your Road Runner service, regardless if they have a wired connection or wireless connection, will be counted toward the total bandwidth usage.

Are customers made aware of usage level limits when they sign up? Where is it noted?
Yes, all new subscribers and existing Road Runner subscribers that upgrade their level of Road Runner service in the Golden Triangle area of Texas have been notified at the point of sale regarding the Select Plan usage levels. Also, the terms of service for Road Runner subscribers notes that “a subscriber may not be used to engage in any conduct that interferes with Operator's ability to provide service to others, including the use of excessive bandwidth.”
