Terms and Service Policy:
Welcome to Road Runner Personal Pages - your personal Web hosting service. In order to sign up for this service, we ask that you review the following legal terms and agree to the service policy and its restrictions.
Database Access:
Personal Home Pages do not include access to a server-side database.
Disk Space: 
Your Road Runner Personal Pages account comes with 5 MB of free disk space. That means that you can have up to 5 MB of files in the account at all times.
Custom Domain Names:
Road Runner does not offer or support the use of custom domain names as part of your Personal Home Page account. However, domain name hosting may be available in the future.
Features Included:
- 5 MB of disk storage space
- 250 MB of monthly transfer capacity.
- Use of any applicable software - You can use any standard software for creating and publishing Web pages and sites.
In most cases, you will not be able to publish files which exceed your disk space limit. In the unusual instance when you may exceed your limit, you will be sent an e-mail message asking you to reduce your directory size. To remedy this situation, you may either a) purchase additional disk space or b) remove enough files to comply with the limit.
Features Not Included:
- Anonymous FTP serving
- Support for users with commercial needs such as custom CGI scripting, database capability and catalog and transaction support.
- Adult Oriented web sites.
Legal Restrictions:
When you initially set up and use the Personal Pages service, you agree to abide by the Customer Service Agreement as they are electronically posted and added to or modified from time to time. In particular, you agree not to use the Road Runner Personal Home Pages Service:
- for any illegal purpose;
- for unauthorized access or distribution of any software, data, or material protected by copyright, patent or trade secret material;
- to copy, distribute or sublicense any software provided by, except that you may make one copy of each software program for back-up or archival purposes only;
- for excessive data transfer; to harass, threaten, embarrass or cause distress, unwanted attention or discomfort upon another customer of the Service;
- to post or transmit any sexually explicit, hateful, vulgar, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material.
Road Runner's Rights and Responsibilities:
Road Runner supports free speech and is not responsible for the content of your Web site, the Web sites of other Road Runner customers, or other Internet Web site content. Nor is Road Runner responsible for lost data, computer viruses, and other damage associated with Web hosting or use of the Web. Road Runner does not have the capacity to closely monitor the content of our members' Web sites. However, if Road Runner discovers that members are violating this service agreement, reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:
- Remove those materials that violate these policies
- Hold the Customer liable for any damages resulting from the violation of these policies
- Terminate this Agreement and your continued purchase of the Service
- Reclassify the Customer to a commercial grade of service.
You may add video and/or audio to your website, but the clips must be downloaded in full by the site visitor. You cannot use technologies such as streaming video or streaming audio. Additionally, Road Runner is not offering any CGI functionality.
